Indian Carrom Team Gets High Court Approval

The Delhi High Court has granted permission for the Indian carrom team to compete in the ninth World Carrom Championship in Italy. Justice Amit Bansal allowed the All India Carrom Federation (AICF) to proceed with team selection and participation. The court noted the urgency as selections needed to be completed by September 29, 2026, and the championship runs from November 30 to December 6. This decision allows India to continue its tradition of participating in the quadrennial event.

भारतीय कैरम टीम को हाई कोर्ट से मिली मंज़ूरी

दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट ने भारतीय कैरम टीम को इटली में नौवीं विश्व कैरम चैंपियनशिप में भाग लेने की इजाज़त दे दी है। जस्टिस अमित बंसल ने ऑल इंडिया कैरम फेडरेशन (AICF) को टीम के चयन और भागीदारी के साथ आगे बढ़ने की अनुमति दी। अदालत ने कहा कि यह ज़रूरी है क्योंकि चयन 29 सितंबर, 2026 तक पूरा होना था, और चैंपियनशिप 30 नवंबर से 6 दिसंबर तक चलेगी। इस फैसले से भारत चार साल में होने वाले इस आयोजन में अपनी भागीदारी जारी रख सकेगा।
