20 Mobile Phones Seized From Faridkot Jail Inmates; FIR Registered Against 10

Prison authorities have seized 20 mobile phones from inmates at Faridkot Jail during a search of various barracks. Following the discovery, a case has been registered against 10 inmates under the Prisons Act. The Faridkot City police station has initiated the process based on a letter from the jail's assistant superintendent. Investigations are currently underway to determine how the phones entered the correctional facility. Possession of mobile phones is prohibited within jails under the Prisons Act.
