Judge Blocks Trump Name on Kennedy Centre Building

A federal judge has blocked the Kennedy Centre from adding President Donald Trump's name to the performing arts venue. Judge Christopher Cooper ruled that such additions require Congressional approval, citing an earlier ruling that his name was illegally placed. The Trump-aligned board had voted to inscribe his name to recognise renovation efforts and potentially rename the plaza. This decision upholds that only Congress can approve changes to the Centre's name.
