The Hindu - International · world

The Saudi-led coalition launched airstrikes on oil sites across western Yemen, including Sanaa, on Tuesday. This action was a direct response to the deadliest attack on Saudi territory in years, which involved Houthi missiles targeting the Kingdom. The coalition stated these strikes aimed to disrupt facilities supplying the Houthi war effort and threatening regional waterways. In retaliation, Saudi Arabia also intercepted Houthi missiles targeting Riyadh and an Aramco facility. The conflict escalates, with civilians in Sanaa fearing fuel shortages.
