BJP Slams Rahul Gandhi Over Elon Musk Post, Assures Fair Spectrum Allocation

The BJP has criticized Rahul Gandhi for his response to Elon Musk's post about Starlink operations in India. BJP leader Ram Madhav stated that spectrum allocation will be strictly lawful and non-discriminatory, unlike alleged UPA-era corruption. He emphasized India is not a 'banana republic' and that companies like Jio, Airtel, and Starlink are awaiting approvals. Madhav also noted Gandhi's shift from accusing the government of surrendering to the US to championing Musk's cause. The Centre had previously dismissed allegations of blocking Starlink due to domestic business interests.

बीजेपी ने भारत में Starlink के संचालन पर एलन मस्क की पोस्ट पर राहुल गांधी की प्रतिक्रिया की आलोचना की है। बीजेपी नेता राम माधव ने कहा कि स्पेक्ट्रम आवंटन पूरी तरह से कानूनी और गैर-भेदभावपूर्ण होगा, न कि यूपीए-काल के कथित भ्रष्टाचार जैसा। उन्होंने जोर देकर कहा कि भारत कोई 'केला गणराज्य' नहीं है और Jio, Airtel और Starlink जैसी कंपनियां मंजूरी का इंतजार कर रही हैं। माधव ने यह भी नोट किया कि गांधी ने सरकार पर अमेरिका के सामने झुकने का आरोप लगाने से हटकर मस्क के पक्ष का समर्थन करना शुरू कर दिया है। केंद्र ने पहले घरेलू व्यावसायिक हितों के कारण Starlink को रोकने के आरोपों को खारिज कर दिया था।
