A decade-long dispute over four Siesta Key beachfront lots has concluded with a land swap settlement. Businessman Michael Holderness, who bought the lots in 2016, will cede them to Sarasota County for public use. In return, he receives a nearby county parcel valued at nearly $2.8 million, where he can build a 5,000-square-foot home. The agreement also includes $500,000 cash and a memorial.
