Indian Kurash Player Yash Kumar Chauhan Fails Dope Test Ahead of Asian Games 2026

Indian kurash player Yash Kumar Chauhan has provisionally suspended after testing positive for multiple banned substances. His sample, taken during competition on September 27, was found to contain metabolites of steroid Metandienone, GW1516, and Mephentermine. The International Testing Agency conducted the test on behalf of the Olympic Council of Asia. Chauhan is now prevented from participating in any activity related to the Asian Games. He has the right to challenge the suspension and request analysis of his B-sample.
