China's central bank plans to enhance support for global investors and issuers engaging with its financial markets. Governor Pan Gongsheng stated the People's Bank of China will improve domestic and overseas financial infrastructure connectivity. The institution also aims to develop the offshore yuan market and promote yuan-denominated bonds as globally recognised collateral. These initiatives are part of Beijing's strategy to increase financial market accessibility for foreign participants and facilitate cross-border investment, ultimately strengthening the yuan's international role.
