Farmer's Body Kept For 3 Days; Family Awaited Army, Police Kin

A 38-year-old farmer, Kuldeep Singh, was shot dead in Moradabad after a minor argument. His family refused to conduct the funeral for three days, demanding the arrest of the accused. The delay was primarily to wait for family members serving in the Indian Army and Uttar Pradesh Police. The police stated that an FIR was registered immediately after the incident. After the main accused and two others were arrested, the family finally performed the last rites, ending the tension in the village.

मुरादाबाद में 38 साल के किसान कुलदीप सिंह की मामूली कहासुनी के बाद गोली मारकर हत्या कर दी गई। परिवार ने तीन दिन तक अंतिम संस्कार करने से इनकार कर दिया और आरोपियों की गिरफ्तारी की मांग की। यह देरी मुख्य रूप से भारतीय सेना और उत्तर प्रदेश पुलिस में सेवारत परिवार के सदस्यों के आने का इंतज़ार करने के लिए थी। पुलिस ने बताया कि घटना के तुरंत बाद एफआईआर दर्ज कर ली गई थी। मुख्य आरोपी और दो अन्य लोगों की गिरफ्तारी के बाद परिवार ने आखिरकार अंतिम संस्कार कर दिया, जिससे गांव में तनाव खत्म हो गया।
