Kejriwal Slams Centre, Calls Security Crackdown Worse Than Emergency

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has strongly criticized the Centre's security measures in central Delhi, describing the situation as "worse than the Emergency." He alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is "hell-bent on crushing democracy" and fears protests. Kejriwal's remarks followed the detention of Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) leaders upon their arrival in Delhi. The Aam Aadmi Party also claimed Kejriwal's residence was turned into a fortress. The CJP had planned a protest demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over electoral roll revisions.

दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने मध्य दिल्ली में केंद्र के सुरक्षा उपायों की कड़ी आलोचना की है और इस स्थिति को "आपातकाल से भी बदतर" बताया है। उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी "लोकतंत्र को कुचलने पर तुले हुए हैं" और उन्हें विरोध प्रदर्शनों का डर है। केजरीवाल की यह टिप्पणी दिल्ली पहुंचने पर कॉकरोच जनता पार्टी (CJP) के नेताओं को हिरासत में लिए जाने के बाद आई है। आम आदमी पार्टी ने यह भी दावा किया कि केजरीवाल के आवास को किले में तब्दील कर दिया गया था। CJP ने चुनावी रोल संशोधन को लेकर मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त ज्ञाननेश कुमार के इस्तीफे की मांग को लेकर विरोध प्रदर्शन की योजना बनाई थी।
