Glowworms Return To Yorkshire After Century

Glowworms have reappeared at Nosterfield nature reserve after a century-long absence, marking a significant conservation success. Early efforts involved raising larvae in a garden shed, leading to the observation of up to twelve glowing females this summer. This indicates successful survival and development in the wild.

नॉस्टरफ़ील्ड नेचर रिज़र्व में सौ साल बाद जुगनू फिर से दिखाई दिए हैं। यह संरक्षण के क्षेत्र में एक बड़ी कामयाबी है। शुरुआत में इन्हें एक गार्डन शेड में पाला गया था। इस गर्मी में बारह तक चमकती हुई मादा जुगनू देखी गईं। इससे पता चलता है कि वे जंगल में अच्छी तरह से जीवित हैं और विकसित हो रहे हैं।
