Kochi District Approves 2026-27 Local Body Plan Revisions

DPC has approved revisions to the 2026-27 annual plans for 31 local bodies, along with health grant projects for nine. Committee chairperson K G Radhakrishnan urged lagging local bodies to expedite fund utilization, with oversight from local administrators and district officials. He also directed the formation of coordination committees by Wednesday and ward-level committees to boost sanitation efforts under a state campaign. A workshop is scheduled for to update planning guidelines for the 15th Five-Year Plan.

DPC ने 31 स्थानीय निकायों के लिए 2026-27 की वार्षिक योजनाओं में संशोधन को मंजूरी दे दी है, साथ ही नौ के लिए स्वास्थ्य अनुदान परियोजनाओं को भी मंजूरी दी है। समिति के अध्यक्ष के जी राधाकृष्णन ने पिछड़ रहे स्थानीय निकायों से स्थानीय प्रशासकों और जिला अधिकारियों की देखरेख में धन के उपयोग में तेजी लाने का आग्रह किया। उन्होंने राज्य अभियान के तहत स्वच्छता प्रयासों को बढ़ावा देने के लिए बुधवार तक समन्वय समितियों और वार्ड-स्तरीय समितियों के गठन का भी निर्देश दिया। 15वीं पंचवर्षीय योजना के लिए योजना दिशानिर्देशों को अद्यतन करने के लिए एक कार्यशाला निर्धारित है।
