RR Kabel Acquires UM Cables Business

RR Kabel has announced its Board of Directors has approved the acquisition of U M Cables' business undertaking. This move marks RR Kabel's entry into the Optical Fibre Cable (OFC) segment. The acquisition, valued at Rs 77 crore on a slump sale basis, will expand the company's presence in the communication cables market. It is expected to complement RR Kabel's existing cable portfolio and broaden its range of solutions for communication infrastructure applications.
