Ennore residents have issued a second consecutive poor 'report card' to the State government, citing ongoing failures in pollution control, wetland restoration, and protection of local livelihoods. Five government bodies received zero scores for inaction on their commitments. While some progress was noted in waste management, key promises on wetland restoration and industrial pollution remain unfulfilled. A recent mass fish kill of four to six tonnes went undocumented, with no official report on its cause or actions taken.
