Kerala CM Pledges Support For Fisherfolk, Launches Vizhinjam Harbour Project

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has pledged to address all issues affecting the fishing community and enhance academic facilities for their children. He laid the foundation stone for a new fishing harbour at Vizhinjam, reaffirming the government's commitment to supporting fisherfolk and their concerns. The project includes modernising the existing harbour and extending its breakwater, with a total of Rs 510 crore allocated for these development initiatives.

केरल के मुख्यमंत्री पिनाराई विजयन ने मछुआरा समुदाय को प्रभावित करने वाले सभी मुद्दों को हल करने और उनके बच्चों के लिए शैक्षणिक सुविधाओं को बढ़ाने का वादा किया है। उन्होंने विझिंजम में एक नए मछली पकड़ने वाले बंदरगाह की आधारशिला रखी, जिससे मछुआरों और उनकी चिंताओं का समर्थन करने के लिए सरकार की प्रतिबद्धता की पुष्टि हुई। इस परियोजना में मौजूदा बंदरगाह का आधुनिकीकरण और इसके ब्रेकवाटर का विस्तार शामिल है, जिसमें इन विकास पहलों के लिए कुल 510 करोड़ रुपये आवंटित किए गए हैं।
