Kerala Govt Sanctions ₹17 Crore For Chaliyam Fish Landing Centre Development

The Kerala government has approved ₹17 crore for the comprehensive development of the Chaliyam fish landing centre in Kozhikode district. Fisheries Minister V.E. Abdul Gafoor informed the Assembly that construction will commence after land transfer from the Forest department and obtaining necessary clearances. The project includes an auction hall, net-mending shed, parking, canteen, toilets, and shops. The Fisheries department is pursuing Stage I clearance and will also require Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ) clearance before construction can begin.

केरल सरकार ने कोझिकोड जिले में चिलियम मछली लैंडिंग सेंटर के व्यापक विकास के लिए ₹17 करोड़ की मंजूरी दे दी है। मत्स्य पालन मंत्री वी.ई. अब्दुल गफूर ने विधानसभा को सूचित किया कि वन विभाग से भूमि हस्तांतरण और आवश्यक मंजूरी मिलने के बाद निर्माण शुरू होगा। इस परियोजना में नीलामी हॉल, नेट-मरम्मत शेड, पार्किंग, कैंटीन, शौचालय और दुकानें शामिल हैं। मत्स्य पालन विभाग स्टेज I की मंजूरी की मांग कर रहा है और निर्माण शुरू होने से पहले तटीय विनियमन क्षेत्र (CRZ) की मंजूरी की भी आवश्यकता होगी।
