Punjab's final voter list has been released, showing a significant reduction of over 13.60 lakh voters compared to the initial count before the SSR. The total number of registered voters has decreased from 2,14,61,043 to 2,01,00,727, marking a 6.33% drop. This reduction is attributed to reasons such as voter deaths, permanent relocation, or duplicate entries. Despite the decrease from the pre-SSR figure, the final list shows a 3.64% increase compared to the draft list released in August, with 7,97,263 new voters added.

पंजाब की अंतिम मतदाता सूची जारी कर दी गई है, जिसमें SSR से पहले की शुरुआती गिनती की तुलना में 13.60 लाख से ज़्यादा मतदाताओं की भारी कमी दिखाई गई है। पंजीकृत मतदाताओं की कुल संख्या 2,14,61,043 से घटकर 2,01,00,727 हो गई है, जो 6.33% की गिरावट है। इस कमी का कारण मतदाताओं की मृत्यु, स्थायी रूप से कहीं और चले जाना या डुप्लीकेट एंट्री होना बताया गया है। प्री-SSR आंकड़े से कमी के बावजूद, अंतिम सूची में अगस्त में जारी ड्राफ्ट सूची की तुलना में 3.64% की वृद्धि देखी गई है, जिसमें 7,97,263 नए मतदाता जोड़े गए हैं।
