Farmers from 66 villages protested Bhopal's draft Master Plan 2047, fearing agricultural land use changes and construction restrictions. Over 500 farmers marched to the T&CP office but were stopped by police barricades at Neelbad, leading to a sit-in protest. The T&CP department accepted 319 objections, with farmers claiming their land is being earmarked for riverfront development and green belts. Misrod residents also opposed a proposed 45-metre-wide road. Over 3,000 objections have been submitted to the draft plan.

66 गांवों के किसानों ने भोपाल के ड्राफ्ट मास्टर प्लान 2047 का विरोध किया, उन्हें डर है कि खेती की ज़मीन का इस्तेमाल बदलेगा और निर्माण पर रोक लगेगी। 500 से ज़्यादा किसान T&CP ऑफिस की ओर मार्च कर रहे थे लेकिन पुलिस ने उन्हें नीलबड़ में बैरिकेड लगाकर रोक दिया, जिसके बाद वे वहीं धरने पर बैठ गए। T&CP विभाग ने 319 आपत्तियां स्वीकार कीं, किसानों का कहना है कि उनकी ज़मीन को रिवरफ्रंट डेवलपमेंट और ग्रीन बेल्ट के लिए चिन्हित किया जा रहा है। मिसरोद के निवासियों ने 45 मीटर चौड़ी सड़क के प्रस्ताव का भी विरोध किया। ड्राफ्ट प्लान के लिए 3,000 से ज़्यादा आपत्तियां जमा की गई हैं।
