Director General of Police C.V. Anand has called for intensified surveillance and night patrolling in the Malkajgiri Police Commissionerate limits due to a significant rise in crime cases. This year, the commissionerate has registered 23,747 criminal cases, an increase from previous years. The DGP emphasized the use of technology for better crime detection and investigation, particularly highlighting the need for continuous surveillance and CCTV coverage in residential areas.
