हिमाचल प्रदेश में कांग्रेस कमेटियों ने सोमवार को बीजेपी पर "वोट चोरी" का आरोप लगाते हुए विरोध प्रदर्शन किया। पार्टी ने मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त की बर्खास्तगी की मांग करते हुए एक ज्ञापन सौंपा, जिसमें मतदाता सूची से नाम हटाए जाने पर चिंता जताई गई। उनका दावा है कि इस कार्रवाई से नागरिकों को वोट देने के उनके संवैधानिक अधिकार से वंचित किया जा रहा है। कांग्रेस ने मतदाता सूची में हेरफेर के माध्यम से नागरिकों के मताधिकार को कमजोर करने के प्रयास का आरोप लगाते हुए सीईसी के खिलाफ देशद्रोह का मामला दर्ज करने की भी मांग की है।
