Chief Justice of India to Inaugurate Ladakh Bench of High Court Tomorrow

Chief Justice of India Justice Surya Kant will visit Ladakh on Sunday to inaugurate the newly established Ladakh bench of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh. He will be accompanied by four Supreme Court judges, the chief justice of the High Court, and the attorney general. This move is significant as it brings justice closer to the people of Ladakh, eliminating the need to travel to Srinagar or Jammu for legal recourse.

भारत के मुख्य न्यायाधीश जस्टिस सूर्य कांत रविवार को जम्मू और कश्मीर और लद्दाख के हाईकोर्ट की नवगठित लद्दाख बेंच का उद्घाटन करने के लिए लद्दाख का दौरा करेंगे। उनके साथ चार सुप्रीम कोर्ट के न्यायाधीश, हाईकोर्ट के मुख्य न्यायाधीश और अटॉर्नी जनरल भी होंगे। यह कदम महत्वपूर्ण है क्योंकि यह न्याय को लद्दाख के लोगों के करीब लाता है, जिससे उन्हें कानूनी सहायता के लिए श्रीनगर या जम्मू की यात्रा करने की आवश्यकता समाप्त हो जाती है।
