दिल्ली में मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त (CEC) ज्ञान प्रकाश कुमार के इस्तीफे की मांग को लेकर विपक्षी नेता और कार्यकर्ता सुप्रीम कोर्ट की ओर मार्च कर रहे हैं। कांग्रेस नेता राहुल गांधी और अन्य विपक्षी हस्तियां बाराखंबा मेट्रो स्टेशन पर एकत्र हुए हैं, उनके साथ पार्टी कार्यकर्ता और छात्र भी शामिल हैं। पुलिस ने संभावित टकराव को देखते हुए बैरिकेड्स लगा दिए हैं। यह विरोध INDIA गठबंधन द्वारा की गई ऐसी ही एक पुकार के बाद हुआ है। इससे पहले, CJP ने भी जंतर मंतर पर एक प्रदर्शन की योजना बनाई थी, जिसके कारण पुलिस की भारी मौजूदगी और प्रमुख हस्तियों सहित कई लोगों को हिरासत में लिया गया था।
