Activist Jarange Dehydrated, Needs Hospitalisation: Doctor

Maratha quota activist Manoj Jarange is severely dehydrated and at risk of electrolyte imbalance, a government doctor stated on Wednesday. Jarange, who is on his way to Mumbai, has not had urine output since morning and requires hospitalisation, according to Civil Surgeon Dr. Satishkumar Solanke. The activist's blood sugar is also low. Jarange has been on a hunger strike for 19 days. He is demanding OBC quota for Maratha community members with Kunbi caste genealogies.

मराठा आरक्षण कार्यकर्ता मनोज जरांगे गंभीर रूप से निर्जलित हैं और इलेक्ट्रोलाइट असंतुलन के खतरे में हैं। सरकारी डॉक्टर ने बुधवार को यह जानकारी दी। सिविल सर्जन डॉ. सतीशकुमार सोलंकी के अनुसार, मुंबई जा रहे जरांगे को सुबह से पेशाब नहीं आया है और उन्हें अस्पताल में भर्ती कराने की ज़रूरत है। उनकी ब्लड शुगर भी कम है। जरांगे 19 दिनों से भूख हड़ताल पर हैं।
