Patient Falls From Hospital's 2nd Floor, Dies; Probe Ordered Into Incident

A 60-year-old patient undergoing treatment for a liver ailment at Maharshi Devraha Baba Medical College in Lucknow died after falling from the hospital's second floor on Sunday night. The deceased, Ramanuj Chouhan, sustained severe injuries and was advised to be shifted to another college due to his critical condition, but his family declined due to financial constraints. The district administration has ordered a three-member inquiry panel to investigate the circumstances of the fall, examining whether it was accidental or intentional.

लखनऊ के महर्षि देवराहा बाबा मेडिकल कॉलेज में लिवर की बीमारी का इलाज करा रहे 60 वर्षीय मरीज की रविवार रात अस्पताल की दूसरी मंजिल से गिरने के बाद मौत हो गई। मृतक, रामानुज चौहान, गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गए थे और उनकी गंभीर हालत को देखते हुए उन्हें दूसरे कॉलेज में शिफ्ट करने की सलाह दी गई थी, लेकिन परिवार ने आर्थिक तंगी के कारण मना कर दिया था। जिला प्रशासन ने इस घटना की जांच के लिए तीन सदस्यीय जांच दल का गठन किया है, जो यह पता लगाएगा कि यह हादसा था या जानबूझकर किया गया था।
