Bank of Baroda has responded to media reports of a $15 billion lawsuit filed by NMC Healthcare founder Bavaguthu Raghuram Shetty. The bank stated it has not yet been served with the suit and therefore cannot comment on its contents. BoB indicated that if served, it will vigorously defend itself and take necessary actions to protect its interests. Shetty alleges the bank and former executives facilitated fund diversion and concealed liabilities, seeking damages for direct, consequential, and reputational harm.

बैंक ऑफ बड़ौदा ने एनएमसी हेल्थकेयर के संस्थापक भगवथु रघुराम शेट्टी द्वारा 15 अरब डॉलर का मुकदमा दायर करने की मीडिया रिपोर्टों पर प्रतिक्रिया दी है। बैंक ने कहा कि उसे अभी तक मुकदमा नहीं मिला है और इसलिए वह इसकी सामग्री पर टिप्पणी नहीं कर सकता। BoB ने संकेत दिया कि यदि उसे मुकदमा मिलता है, तो वह जोरदार तरीके से अपना बचाव करेगा और अपने हितों की रक्षा के लिए आवश्यक कदम उठाएगा। शेट्टी का आरोप है कि बैंक और पूर्व अधिकारियों ने फंड के डायवर्जन में मदद की और देनदारियों को छुपाया, जिसके लिए उन्होंने प्रत्यक्ष, परिणामी और प्रतिष्ठा संबंधी नुकसान के लिए हर्जाने की मांग की है।
