Jammu and Kashmir Deputy Chief Minister Surendra Chaudhary has made a veiled jab at the BJP, stating that the lotus, the BJP's symbol, does not bloom in winter. This statement comes amid reports of internal dissent within the National Conference following a cabinet expansion and speculation about MLA Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi's potential resignation. Chaudhary suggested that trying to force the lotus to bloom prematurely would cause it to wither. He also commented on BJP leader Ram Madhav's visit, implying it might be for media interactions.
