Qatar's Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, has stated that the country and region have faced "exceptional events" due to the ongoing United States-Israeli war on Iran. He emphasized the strength and cohesion of Qatar's state institutions in navigating these challenges. The conflict, which began on February 28, has disrupted global supply routes and triggered an energy crisis, with Iran directly attacking Qatar's Ras Laffan gas facility. The Emir stressed Qatar's preference for peaceful conflict resolution while asserting that the security of Gulf Cooperation Council states is non-negotiable.
