IIT Bombay Hostel Fire Caused By Gas Leak; 5 Injured, Including 2 Minors

A gas leak from a cylinder pipe triggered a flare-up at Hostel No. 6 on the IIT Bombay campus in Powai on Thursday night, injuring five people, including two minors. The incident was reported late Thursday evening, and emergency services were quickly mobilised. Four of the injured were taken to Kasturba Hospital, while one was admitted to Rajawadi Hospital, with all reported to be in stable condition.

गुरुवार रात को आईआईटी बॉम्बे के पवई कैंपस में हॉस्टल नंबर 6 में सिलेंडर पाइप से गैस लीक होने के कारण आग भड़क गई, जिसमें दो नाबालिगों सहित पांच लोग घायल हो गए। यह घटना गुरुवार देर शाम को रिपोर्ट की गई थी, और आपातकालीन सेवाओं को तुरंत सक्रिय किया गया। घायलों में से चार को कस्तूरबा अस्पताल ले जाया गया, जबकि एक को राजावाड़ी अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया, सभी की हालत स्थिर बताई जा रही है।
