Nestle India Posts Strong Q2 Results Amidst Valuation Concerns
Business Standard · stocks
Nestle India reported robust September-quarter results, driven by double-digit volume growth across all categories. Despite facing elevated input costs, the company managed to expand its margins. However, the stock has experienced selling pressure, declining by 8.6 per cent in two trading sessions. This decline is attributed to concerns over anticipated growth moderation in the second half of FY27, ongoing input cost inflation, and a significant valuation gap compared to its industry peers. Consequently, most brokerages have revised their price-to-earnings multiples downwards for the stock.
