Court Refuses To Halt Release Of Film 'Duhra' On Sourav Ganguly's Plea

The Delhi High Court has refused to halt the release of the film 'Duhra', despite a plea from former Indian cricket captain Sourav Ganguly. Ganguly and his biopic production house, Love Films LLP, had sought a stay, alleging misuse of his personal events and personality rights without permission. The court, however, ruled that the balance of convenience favors the film's producers. The judge noted that the film is set to release soon and a stay might not be appropriate at this stage.

दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट ने पूर्व भारतीय क्रिकेट कप्तान सौरव गांगुली की याचिका के बावजूद 'दुहरा' फिल्म की रिलीज रोकने से इनकार कर दिया है। गांगुली और उनकी बायोपिक प्रोडक्शन हाउस, लव फिल्म्स एलएलपी ने बिना अनुमति के उनके निजी कार्यक्रमों और व्यक्तित्व अधिकारों के दुरुपयोग का आरोप लगाते हुए रोक की मांग की थी। हालांकि, कोर्ट ने फैसला सुनाया कि सुविधा का संतुलन फिल्म के निर्माताओं के पक्ष में है। जज ने कहा कि फिल्म जल्द ही रिलीज होने वाली है और इस स्तर पर रोक लगाना उचित नहीं हो सकता है।
