10 Get Death Penalty For 2013 Maoist Ambush

A Special NIA Court has sentenced 10 individuals to death for their involvement in the 2013 Maoist ambush in Chhattisgarh's Jhiram Ghati. The attack, which occurred on May 25, 2013, resulted in the deaths of 29 people, including senior Congress leaders. The court convicted the 10 individuals, including two women, under seven charges and imposed a fine of Rs 800 each. The sentence awaits high court confirmation, and convicts can appeal within 30 days.

छत्तीसगढ़ के झीरम घाटी में 2013 के माओवादी हमले में शामिल 10 लोगों को NIA की स्पेशल कोर्ट ने मौत की सज़ा सुनाई है। 25 मई 2013 को हुए इस हमले में कांग्रेस के बड़े नेताओं समेत 29 लोगों की जान गई थी। कोर्ट ने दो महिलाओं सहित 10 दोषियों को सात धाराओं के तहत दोषी पाया और हर पर 800 रुपये का जुर्माना भी लगाया।
