Researchers have developed a novel method for identity recognition in non-line-of-sight (NLOS) environments. This technique addresses the challenges posed by the absence of direct signal propagation and the prevalence of multipath components in measurements. The topological-spectral fusion of secondary acoustic echoes offers a promising advancement for identifying individuals when direct visual or auditory contact is not possible, potentially enhancing security and surveillance.
