Jio Financial Services Q2 Profit Halves Year-On-Year To ₹340 Crore

Jio Financial Services reported a consolidated net profit of ₹340.4 crore in the second quarter of FY27, marking a 51% decline from ₹695 crore in the same period last year. Operating revenue saw a significant increase of 73%, reaching ₹1,699.3 crore compared to ₹981.4 crore in Q2 FY26. The profit reduction was attributed to higher expenses and the absence of dividend income, which was ₹269 crore in the prior year's quarter. Sequentially, net profit fell by 59% from the previous quarter.
