Trader Shot Dead By Bike-Borne Assailants In Bhojpur

A 36-year-old hardware trader, Upendra Kumar Singh, was shot dead in broad daylight in Bhojpur district on Saturday. He was returning home after dropping his children at school when three bike-borne assailants opened fire at him. Singh sustained a fatal head injury and died while being transported to the hospital. Police are investigating a land dispute with relatives as a potential motive for the murder. CCTV footage from the crime scene is being reviewed to identify the attackers.

शनिवार को भोजपुर जिले में दिनदहाड़े 36 वर्षीय हार्डवेयर व्यापारी उपेंद्र कुमार सिंह की गोली मारकर हत्या कर दी गई। वह अपने बच्चों को स्कूल छोड़ने के बाद घर लौट रहे थे, तभी तीन बाइक सवार हमलावरों ने उन पर गोली चला दी। सिंह को सिर में गंभीर चोट लगी और अस्पताल ले जाते समय उनकी मौत हो गई। पुलिस हत्या के संभावित कारण के रूप में रिश्तेदारों के साथ जमीन विवाद की जांच कर रही है। हमलावरों की पहचान के लिए अपराध स्थल के सीसीटीवी फुटेज की समीक्षा की जा रही है।
