IUML Expels Member Amid Qatar KMCC Burglary Probe

IUML has expelled Razak Kunnummel, also known as Rotana Razak, from the party and its associated organisations, including the Kerala Muslim Cultural Centre (KMCC). This action follows an investigation into a major burglary at the KMCC office in Qatar, which occurred in September 2025. Approximately Rs 8 crore worth of cash was stolen in the incident. A case was registered by Koyilandy Police, concerning the theft of 31 lakh Qatari riyals from the KMCC office in Doha.

आईयूएमएल ने रज़क कुन्नुम्मल, जिन्हें रोटाना रज़क के नाम से भी जाना जाता है, को पार्टी और केरल मुस्लिम कल्चरल सेंटर (केएमसीसी) सहित इससे जुड़े संगठनों से निष्कासित कर दिया है। यह कार्रवाई सितंबर 2025 में कतर में केएमसीसी कार्यालय में हुई एक बड़ी चोरी की जांच के बाद हुई है। इस घटना में लगभग 8 करोड़ रुपये नकद की चोरी हुई थी। कोयलंडी पुलिस ने दोहा में केएमसीसी कार्यालय से 31 लाख कतरी रियाल की चोरी के संबंध में मामला दर्ज किया था।
