IPS Officer Removed As SP After Wife Alleges Harassment, Denied Access to Daughter

IPS officer Bhanu Pratap Singh has been removed from his post as SP in Khagaria, Bihar, following serious allegations of harassment by his wife, Pooja Singh. Singh, a 2021 batch IPS officer, is also accused of preventing his wife from meeting their six-year-old daughter. The wife had previously protested outside the Chief Minister's residence over the issue. Despite the complaints, Pooja Singh stated she does not want a divorce and wishes to reconcile for the sake of their family.

IPS अधिकारी भानु प्रताप सिंह को बिहार के खगड़िया में SP के पद से हटा दिया गया है। उनकी पत्नी पूजा सिंह ने उत्पीड़न के गंभीर आरोप लगाए हैं। 2021 बैच के IPS अधिकारी सिंह पर अपनी छह साल की बेटी से पत्नी को मिलने से रोकने का भी आरोप है। पत्नी ने पहले इस मामले को लेकर मुख्यमंत्री आवास के बाहर विरोध प्रदर्शन किया था। शिकायतों के बावजूद, पूजा सिंह ने कहा कि वह तलाक नहीं चाहती हैं और अपने परिवार के लिए सुलह चाहती हैं।
