Ex-Minister Velu Questioned For Five Hours

Former Tamil Nadu minister E.V. Velu was questioned by the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption (DVAC) for five hours in connection with a disproportionate assets case. The DVAC is investigating allegations that Velu amassed wealth beyond his known sources of income during his tenure as minister.

तमिलनाडु के पूर्व मंत्री ई.वी. वेलू से विजिलेंस एंड एंटी-करप्शन (DVAC) ने आय से अधिक संपत्ति के मामले में पांच घंटे तक पूछताछ की। DVAC जांच कर रही है कि मंत्री रहते हुए वेलू ने अपनी ज्ञात आय के स्रोतों से कहीं ज़्यादा दौलत जमा की या नहीं। यह मामला काफी समय से चर्चा में है।
