Jodhpur Police Freeze Drug Traffickers' Assets Worth Over Rs 2 Crore

Jodhpur Police have frozen movable and immovable assets totaling approximately Rs 46.09 lakh belonging to two alleged drug traffickers from the Jhanwar police station area. This action follows a similar seizure of assets worth about Rs 1.58 crore from another accused by Jodhpur Rural Police. The seized properties include houses, vehicles, and shops. Authorities stated that the campaign against drug traffickers and properties acquired through illegal means will continue. This year, police also destroyed over 3,800 kg of narcotics valued at Rs 6 crore.

जोधपुर पुलिस ने झंवर पुलिस थाना इलाके के दो कथित ड्रग तस्करों की करीब 46.09 लाख रुपये की चल और अचल संपत्ति फ्रीज़ कर दी है। यह कार्रवाई जोधपुर ग्रामीण पुलिस द्वारा एक अन्य आरोपी से करीब 1.58 करोड़ रुपये की संपत्ति जब्त करने के बाद हुई है। जब्त की गई संपत्तियों में मकान, वाहन और दुकानें शामिल हैं। अधिकारियों ने कहा कि ड्रग तस्करों और अवैध साधनों से अर्जित संपत्तियों के खिलाफ अभियान जारी रहेगा। इस साल पुलिस ने 6 करोड़ रुपये के 3,800 किलोग्राम से ज़्यादा नशीले पदार्थों को भी नष्ट किया है।
