बिहार के आरा में तीन नकाबपोश हमलावरों ने 36 वर्षीय हार्डवेयर व्यवसायी उपेंद्र कुमार सिंह की मोटरसाइकिल पर गोली मारकर हत्या कर दी। यह घटना तब हुई जब सिंह अपने बच्चों को स्कूल छोड़ने के बाद घर लौट रहे थे। हमलावरों ने उन्हें घेर लिया और सिर में नजदीक से गोली मार दी। उन्हें अस्पताल ले जाया गया लेकिन मृत घोषित कर दिया गया। पुलिस जमीन विवाद, वित्तीय लेनदेन या व्यक्तिगत दुश्मनी को ध्यान में रखते हुए मकसद की जांच कर रही है।
