सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने फैसला सुनाया है कि BCI चेयरमैन का कार्यकाल सिर्फ दो साल के लिए ही होगा। कोर्ट ने कहा कि BCI अपने किसी भी प्रस्ताव से इस कार्यकाल को पांच साल तक नहीं बढ़ा सकती। इस फैसले से BCI चेयरमैन के कार्यकाल की सीमाएं साफ हो गई हैं, जिससे नियमों का पालन सुनिश्चित होगा और मनमानी बढ़ोतरी रुकेगी।
