Parliamentary Panel Suggests CBT Format, Question Banks For NTA Exam Reforms

A parliamentary committee has submitted a report to the Rajya Sabha chairman suggesting reforms for the National Testing Agency (NTA). The report recommends creating a large, updated question bank and preparing exam papers shortly before the exam, ideally in a CBT format. This would eliminate the need for early paper printing and transport. The committee also proposed establishing over 1,000 secure government CBT centers nationwide and creating a national blacklist for exam agencies.

एक संसदीय समिति ने राष्ट्रीय परीक्षण एजेंसी (NTA) के सुधारों के लिए एक रिपोर्ट राज्यसभा अध्यक्ष को सौंपी है। रिपोर्ट में एक बड़ा, अपडेटेड प्रश्न बैंक बनाने और परीक्षा से ठीक पहले, आदर्श रूप से CBT फॉर्मेट में परीक्षा पत्र तैयार करने की सिफारिश की गई है। इससे परीक्षा पत्रों की छपाई और परिवहन की शुरुआती ज़रूरत खत्म हो जाएगी। समिति ने पूरे देश में 1,000 से अधिक सुरक्षित सरकारी CBT केंद्र स्थापित करने और परीक्षा एजेंसियों के लिए एक राष्ट्रीय ब्लैकलिस्ट बनाने का भी प्रस्ताव दिया है।
