Voter List Changes in Maharashtra: Parties to be Notified Before Name Removal

Maharashtra's Chief Electoral Officer has issued new directives for the voter list revision process. Political parties' Booth Level Agents (BLAs) will now receive lists of voters proposed for removal before any final decision is made. This move aims to ensure transparency and provide voters with adequate opportunities to submit necessary documents. Special camps are scheduled for, 4, 10, and 11, 2026, to facilitate document submission. Family members can also participate in hearings on behalf of voters.
