Telangana ACB Flags Irregularities at Korutla Transport Office

The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has uncovered multiple irregularities during a surprise inspection at the Korutla unit office of the Transport Department in Jagtial district. The ACB's Karimnagar Range found that a Transport Constable was conducting driving tests and vehicle registrations without the Motor Vehicle Inspector's presence. Allegations suggest staff collected excess fees from the public through agents in exchange for favours, with agents having direct access to office staff. Poor record maintenance, lack of supervision, and substandard driving test facilities were also noted.

तेलंगाना एंटी-करप्शन ब्यूरो (एसीबी) ने जगित्याल जिले के ट्रांसपोर्ट डिपार्टमेंट के कोरुटला यूनिट ऑफिस में अचानक की गई जांच के दौरान कई अनियमितताएं पाई हैं। एसीबी की करीमनगर रेंज ने पाया कि एक ट्रांसपोर्ट कांस्टेबल मोटर वाहन निरीक्षक की मौजूदगी के बिना ड्राइविंग टेस्ट और वाहन पंजीकरण कर रहा था। आरोपों से पता चलता है कि कर्मचारियों ने एजेंटों के माध्यम से जनता से अधिक फीस वसूली और बदले में पक्षपात किया, एजेंटों की सीधे ऑफिस के कर्मचारियों तक पहुंच थी। रिकॉर्ड का खराब रखरखाव, पर्यवेक्षण की कमी और घटिया ड्राइविंग टेस्ट सुविधाएं भी देखी गईं।
