The ancient Annapurna Temple in Kashi will celebrate Diwali with a unique five-day festival, distributing an estimated Rs 8 to 10 lakh worth of coins as 'khazana' (treasure) to devotees. This tradition, believed to bring prosperity, will commence on Dhanteras,. Devotees can witness the golden idol of Goddess Annapurna for five days, with special rituals and distribution of the treasure. The coins, made from eight different metals including old and out-of-circulation currency, are considered a divine Prasad. The festival culminates with the Annakoot festival.

अन्नपूर्णा मंदिर बांटेगा 10 लाख रुपये के सिक्के दीपावली पर अनोखा खजाना भक्तों को मिलेगा

काशी का प्राचीन अन्नपूर्णा मंदिर दीपावली पर एक अनोखा पांच दिवसीय उत्सव मनाएगा, जिसमें भक्तों को 'खजाना' के रूप में अनुमानित 8 से 10 लाख रुपये के सिक्के बांटे जाएंगे। यह परंपरा, जिसे समृद्धि लाने वाला माना जाता है, धनतेरस से शुरू होगी। भक्त पांच दिनों तक देवी अन्नपूर्णा की स्वर्ण प्रतिमा के दर्शन कर सकेंगे, जिसमें विशेष अनुष्ठान और खजाने का वितरण शामिल होगा। आठ विभिन्न धातुओं से बने सिक्के, जिनमें पुराने और चलन से बाहर के नोट भी शामिल हैं, दिव्य प्रसाद माने जाते हैं। यह उत्सव अन्नकूट पर्व के साथ समाप्त होगा।
