Times of India · good-news
Jobandeep Singh, 32, left his engineering career after just four months to return to his village in Punjab and pursue organic farming. He now cultivates a variety of crops on four acres of his family land, keeping livestock, poultry, and bees. Singh sells his produce directly to around 50 customers under the brand Asees Natural Farm. His diversified approach, which includes crops like turmeric, basmati, vegetables, and millets, has earned him recognition. This initiative offers an alternative to the conventional wheat-paddy cycle dominant in Punjab.
