Modi: Railway Electrification Boosts Energy Security

Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted Indian Railways' rapid electrification as crucial for national energy security. He stated that extensive electrification over the past twelve years prevented disruptions during Middle East crises. Before 2014, less than thirty percent of the rail network was electrified. Now, nearly ninety-nine percent is electrified, ensuring uninterrupted train operations despite global energy challenges and reducing reliance on fossil fuels.

मोदी: रेल विद्युतीकरण से ऊर्जा सुरक्षा को बढ़ावा

प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने कहा कि भारतीय रेलवे का तेज़ी से विद्युतीकरण देश की ऊर्जा सुरक्षा के लिए बहुत ज़रूरी है। उन्होंने बताया कि पिछले बारह सालों में बड़े पैमाने पर हुए विद्युतीकरण की वजह से मध्य पूर्व के संकटों के दौरान कोई रुकावट नहीं आई। 2014 से पहले, रेलवे नेटवर्क का तीस प्रतिशत से भी कम विद्युतीकरण हुआ था। अब लगभग निन्यानवे प्रतिशत विद्युतीकरण हो चुका है, जिससे वैश्विक ऊर्जा चुनौतियों के बावजूद ट्रेनों का संचालन निर्बाध रूप से जारी है और जीवाश्म ईंधन पर निर्भरता कम हुई है।
