Chennai District Asks Public to Report Unlicensed Child

Chennai district administration is asking the public to report child care homes operating without government authorization and any instances of child abuse or mistreatment. There are 91 children's homes in Chennai, but many lack proper recognition or licenses. Residents can submit complaints and information to the District Child Protection Unit (DCPU) via phone, email, or mail. The DCPU, under the Ministry of Women and Child Development and state departments, handles registration, inspection.

चेन्नई जिला प्रशासन लोगों से उन बाल देखभाल गृहों की रिपोर्ट करने को कह रहा है जो सरकारी अनुमति के बिना चल रहे हैं। अगर कहीं बच्चों के साथ दुर्व्यवहार या मारपीट हो रही है, तो भी बताएं। चेन्नई में 91 बाल गृह हैं, पर कई के पास सही लाइसेंस नहीं है। लोग डिस्ट्रिक्ट चाइल्ड प्रोटेक्शन यूनिट (DCPU) को फोन, ईमेल या चिट्ठी से शिकायत कर सकते हैं। DCPU ही इन घरों की जांच और रजिस्ट्रेशन का काम देखती है।
