NHRC Trusted Address For Aggrieved, Says CJI Surya Kant

Chief Justice of India Surya Kant stated that the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has become a trusted address for those who are aggrieved. Speaking at the NHRC's 33rd Foundation Day, he emphasized that the true measure of a human rights institution is its ability to be heard by the most vulnerable. Over 33 years, the NHRC has registered over 24 lakh cases and disposed of more than 23 lakh, with a disposal rate exceeding 98 percent.

भारत के मुख्य न्यायाधीश सूर्यकांत ने कहा कि राष्ट्रीय मानवाधिकार आयोग (NHRC) पीड़ितों के लिए एक भरोसेमंद पता बन गया है। NHRC के 33वें स्थापना दिवस पर बोलते हुए, उन्होंने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि मानवाधिकार संस्था का असली पैमाना यह है कि सबसे कमजोर लोगों की बात सुनी जा सके। 33 वर्षों में, NHRC ने 24 लाख से अधिक मामले दर्ज किए हैं और 23 लाख से अधिक का निपटारा किया है, जिसमें निपटान दर 98 प्रतिशत से अधिक है।
