Keralam Raises Disability Vehicle Tax Exemption Limit

Keralam has increased the motor vehicle tax exemption limit for persons with disabilities from ₹7 lakh to ₹15 lakh. This decision, announced in the Revised Budget speech for the 2026-27 financial year, amends the Kerala Motor Vehicles Taxation Act. The exemption now applies to vehicles purchased by individuals with conditions like autism, cerebral palsy, intellectual disabilities, or multiple disabilities, offering greater financial relief for accessible transportation.

केरल ने विकलांग वाहन कर छूट सीमा बढ़ाई

केरल सरकार ने दिव्यांगजनों के लिए मोटर वाहन टैक्स की छूट सीमा ₹7 लाख से बढ़ाकर ₹15 लाख कर दी है। यह फैसला 2026-27 के संशोधित बजट भाषण में आया है। अब ऑटिज्म, सेरेब्रल पाल्सी, बौद्धिक अक्षमता या मल्टीपल डिसेबिलिटी वाले लोग जो गाड़ी खरीदेंगे, उन्हें यह छूट मिलेगी। इससे सुलभ परिवहन के लिए बड़ी आर्थिक राहत मिलेगी।
