Punjab CM Accuses BJP of Using CBI for Election Campaign

The Hindu · india

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of using investigative agencies to launch its election campaign in the state. This statement follows a CBI raid at his camp office, which Mann claims is a tactic to create fear and tarnish his government's image. He asserted that no corruption would be found, stating the raids indicate elections will be held on time. The BJP countered, urging the AAP government to explain why a CBI probe was ordered by the High Court, rather than politicizing the issue.
